ABOUT Marisa
Marisa Facciolo has spent her career helping women. She is a passionate supporter of women’s causes, supporting organizations that help to advance women. A strong believer in education, Marisa is a lawyer and investment adviser for a local wealth management firm. From a young age, she was taught that an education is the only thing no one can take from you and despite the challenges she faced, she continues to grow her career focused on helping others.
As a young girl, Marisa was influenced by women in ways that ultimately would shape her vision for her future. Her parents owned and operated a finishing school in the 1970’s and they hosted many of the classes in their home. As the beautiful models would flow through the front door, Marisa saw how women’s beauty often dominated their careers. Being “pretty” in the 1970’s was emphasized in a way that stuck with her. She saw that women were taught to walk pretty, to dress pretty and to eat pretty. As she grew up she knew that being pretty could get you in the door, but she knew that a woman needed more than just being pretty to be successful. An education was key.

Present Best with Marisa offers one-on-one coaching tailored to individual women’s personal and professional development needs. Through a comprehensive assessment, a customized coaching plan is created, covering topics like interviewing skills, resume drafting, career path development, and professional etiquette. The coaching sessions provide guidance, support, and practical strategies for women to achieve their goals.
BOSS LADY BOOT CAMP
with Marisa
BLBC is a group coaching program designed for entry-level women in a specific firm or company. Firms can contract with Present Best to enroll their female employees in the program. The program offers customized sessions focused on professional development, with topics ranging from interviewing skills to networking strategies. BLBC will be offered in late 2025 or 2026, and includes a series of evening events for skill practice and networking.

Marisa offers engaging talks on various topics related to personal and professional development. Her audience includes individuals from non-profits, for-profits, small groups, and students. She customizes each talk to meet the specific goals and objectives of the organizer. Talks typically last 30-60 minutes and include a de-brief session. Marisa also offers a range of topics, including business development, personal growth, and communication skills.
Mentoring and coaching women to define and shape their presentation style building in the confidence and conviction needed to succeed.

Present Best will offer a variety of resources to support clients’ personal and professional growth. These resources will include a podcast, articles on various topics, a recommended reading list, and potentially a newsletter. These resources will be launched in 2026 and continuously updated to provide ongoing value to clients and supporters.

The Dragonfly
Having flown the earth for 300 million years, dragonflies symbolize our ability to overcome times of hardship. They can remind us to take time to reconnect with our own strength, courage and happiness.
Dragonflies represent the wisdom and resilience to adapt to change, and the ability to see the true nature of situations. They also represent becoming your true self through transformation. They represent invincibility and protection.
I always loved dragonflies. It is not lost on me that their meaning in nature signifies transformation, resilience and strength.
The dragonfly embodies the mission, purpose and goals of Present Best.
